HayPlant, based at Norton, about six miles from Stowmarket, is the plant and transport arm of Haymills - with all profits consolidated within HCL accounts.

Hayplant Staff:

HayPlant has an extensive range of plant and transport, primarily held for internal hire. External hire is feasible, but is only a very small part of the business. Where HayPlant cannot supply from stock, the business hires from an approved supplier on your behalf. This is a service run free of charge, to support efficient plant management for the Business Units. Levels of external hire are constantly monitored, with stock increased according to demand - even unusual items can be purchased if necessary.
 
In addition to vans and company cars, HayPlant has an extensive stock of both mobile and static plant, which includes anything from dumpers and mini diggers to site accommodation and concrete cube curing tanks. HayPlant also offers a delivery and collection service for sites who cannot easily reach Norton.

If advice from a specialist is required, such as crane hire, HayPlant will arrange a representative to visit to ensure all needs are fulfilled. Scaffold hire can be arranged, but not scaffold erection. Towers can be supplied as well as erected. HayPlant is also able to visit a project to clear site or to affect repairs.
 
HayPlant negotiates both supply and hire terms annually, and are very competitive. Our aim is to provide a cost effective support service to all sites, in all regions, enabling Haymills to offer a full and professional construction process to the end user.
