Haymills has been operating in East Anglia for over 50 years and from its own purpose built offices in Stowmarket for nearly 20 years. The Business Unit has enjoyed year on year success with a majority of negotiated and repeat business contracts for a wide range of public and private sector clients.
There is a large, skilled, directly employed workforce that is utilised on all projects, and to ensure the trade and craftsmanship standards are maintained an extensive training and development programme has been created. Each year Haymills takes on apprentices, who are trained in their particular discipline and supported by experienced members of the team – on site and in the office. This leads to a continuous learning culture which can be best seen on site and through our service provision.
The Business Unit maintains a strong track record in Cambridge, particularly working within the College marketplace. In addition the commercial, heritage, healthcare and leisure sectors also provide excellent platforms of continuous construction activity and the development of ongoing and future opportunites
